| November 28, 2009 We traveled to Victorville Raceway for the Annual Turkey Classic. The 360ci injected Sprint Car show had 19 cars in attendance Saturday night, including multiple race track champions. Chris started in the 5th position on the inside of row 3 for the heat race. Ennis moved forward quickly into the 2nd position, where he remained until the checkered flag. For the Main event the top two rows were inverted, putting Chris on pole. Ennis set the pace from the pole position. He led for 2 laps before Greg Taylor got around him on lap 3. Chris was in 2nd for the first restart of the night. A few laps after the green he would lose the position to 777 chassis builder, John Aden. With most of the race staying green, Chris would bring home third for the evening. This was the final race for Chris Ennis and his crew in 2009 season. Chris is very happy with his first season racing sprints and looks forward to his race packed 2010 schedule! Chris would like to thank all his 2009 sponsors for their support throughout the season: B&B Transmissions, Skarphol Associates, J&K Performance, Strathmore Machinery, The Thread & Ink Factory, & West Olive Welding. Chris would also like to extend a special thanks to Allen and Susan Ennis, Jeff Heusdens, Tim Bebee, Russell Silvas, and Robert Walker. Thanks for all your help and continued support! See you at the races! P.S. Check back for the NEW website...COMING SOON! |
